ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER BLESSING

Well, it's now Sunday 02/21/2010, we are down to one week, two days, THANK GOD ! I have truly been learning so much, as well as enjoying each experience. I have some really great supporters all the way from Illinois......

November (8-yr-old granddaughter)
dear grandma,i really really really really really really really really really really really hope you become judje i haven't asked dad if you become judge that we can move back to Texas.

I know that there are no words to express the love of grandchildren.

Oops, back to the campaign blogging :) Well, it is off to church this morning and then to pick up some more business cards to get back on the feet to meet and greet the community of Pct. 5.

Remember folks, it is still early voting this week, even today from 1pm-6pm, please, get out and vote !

If we want an experienced person on this bench, well then I am your person. I have the experience through working these last 8-1/2 years here under the current Judge Yeoman. I intend on keeping some of his procedures that work great for everyone. But also implement some new ideas I have to make it work even better for the community, as well as the employees. When you have happy employees they work better.

Have a blessed Sunday. Hope to see you in the next few days at the polls.

BLOCK WALKING

Saturday, 02/13/2010

Today was a cold, but great day spent walking through the neighborhoods of Bear Creek. We went to the park, met a Sgt. from Pct. 5, a few individuals in their yards who knew who Virginia is from the Court. It was nice to have family and friends hang out with us this morning. It was our pleasure meeting a new young attorney from this part of town. I am sure she will do great in her practice. Also, it was nice to have friends of friends who believe in the qualified candidate, Virgina S Pittman.

Have a blessed weekend Folks, see you here in another day or so !

Monday February 8, 2010

Monday is usually the quiet day for the campaign, a time to catch up @ home.

I was able to get some of my Bible Study, Me, Myself & Lies by Jennifer Rothschild, it's a pretty interesting book for a woman to check out. You know, if you think about it, we are our own worse enemies. But as we grow in Christ, He will let us know that we are loved by Him and that if He, God brings us to it, He will bring us through it. No need to believe the lies of others, or even the lies of our thoughts, get them out and know that Jesus loves you !
I was able to do a little updating on the campaign website, check it out. I even added some music.
I have met numerous people along this trail and it has truly been an adventure, truly a blessing. The big blessing is my family because I will be first to tell you, it has been a lot to handle, this campaign trail. But not too hard for me to tackle one issue after another. Also, those wonderful women I work with, they are truly my supporters and believe in a new future for our court.

ANOTHER DAY OF MEETS

Well, Saturday was well spent in the Northwest part of town, near Katy, Texas with a dear sweet lady, Lesa Trapp. I was able to meet a few of her neighbors, nephew, as well as her family. It was a beautiful sunshine day to meet some people out in that area.
Robert, my 12-yr-old grandson and I went to run errands in the stores and met some really great people at the Verizon over on Grand Pkwy. Wow, it was worth leaving my side of FM 529 & Hwy 6 to go there and meet up with new faces.
Customer Service at that Verizon, people it was AWESOME !!!

Today is Sunday and time to get ready for church. We are doing a study of Galatians in our women's study group, wonderful group of women. After church we will be going to Lake Jackson for lunch with my daughter Bernadette and her hubby Glen. I will spend time with Sammie my granddaughter. Robert loves to visit with cousins. Of course Sunday is God's day, the day to be with family, but the campaign trail is put in there whenever we are out and about in the Pct. 5 area.

VOTE MARCH 2, 2010

"Well, it’s down to the wire, only 26 days left. What better person to replace the legendary William V. Yeoman at Pct 5-Plc 2, but one of his own, an appointed Court Supervisor for the last 4 years, worked under him for the last eight years. I have seen this court through the rough lines, as well as the chaotic trial dockets. One thing I have never seen is any of my opponents, including the only personal injury attorney. The laws that are relevant to JP Court change from time to time through legislation, which I keep up with as a court employee. I feel and know that I am more than qualified, but mostly willing to serve the constituents of this precinct. I am the candidate who through hard work has worked my way through the ranks and am ready to serve at a higher level in our court. The endorsements I am looking for are the votes of the constituents that I hope to serve. Please remember to get out on March 2, 2010 to vote!"

DIA DE DOS DE MARZO, 2010

"Bueno falta solamente 26 dias.
Querer Es Poder!"
